Congratulations to Simon Weinmüller and co-authors on the recently published articlel “MR-zero meets FLASH – controlling the transient signal decay in gradient- and RF-spoiled gradient echo sequences”!

The article focused on the optimization of individual RF flip angles and phases using the MR-zero framework, which improves the transient signal decay of FLASH MRI sequences, reducing artifacts in magnitude and phase images. The best results are achieved when both parameters are adjusted together, enhancing signal stability, point spread function ideality, and image quality. This approach outperforms conventional RF cycling and can be adapted for different target signal behaviors.
