Clinical studies
In the context of various research questions, we conduct studies in which we regularly examine healthy test subjects with the aid of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). If you are interested in our studies, please feel free to contact us:

In individual projects, we also study patients with specific diseases or conditions:
- MRI studies to study human development during pregnancy
Our research groups develop novel methods for motion-robust fetal MRI. Read more - MRI studies for characterization of muscle diseases
Our research groups also apply the developed MR measurement techniques to characterize metabolic and functional processes in patients with muscle disorders. Read more - MRI studies to investigate the natural movement of the uterus or the bowel
Dynamic MR techniques are used to investigate the movement of the uterus and bowel in volunteers without known diseases as well as with diagnosed diseases such as adenomyosis or inflammatory bowel disease. Read more
All studies were reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU).
